Placing an Order

Finding the products you want
You can browse through our products using the menu's at the top of each page, we have both a Men's and Ladies department which are divided into the various product types, alternatively you can use the search box at the top of each page, or our advanced search facility.  You can alternatively shop by brand, or by size.

How to place an order
After you have have found a product you can select the colour you require from the drop-down list box or by clicking on the colour swatch, once you have decided which colour you want simply select the size and enter your required quantity followed by clicking the "add to basket" button.  This will add immediately add this item into your shopping basket.

New Feature
You can now save your colour/size selections, simply pick your chosen colour/size option and click the "Save and choose another" option, this will enable you to repeat without leaving the product page until you have chosen all your colour/size requirements, then simply click the "add to cart" button to add all the options to your shopping cart.

You can then browse and add more products, or at any time review the content of your basket by clicking the "View Basket" link on every page.  Once you have finished and wish to purchase the contents of your shopping basket, either return to your basket using the "View Basket" link and click the "Checkout" button or click the "Checkout" link along the left hand side of every page.
If you have purchased from us previously simply login using your email address and password.  If you've forgotten your password click the "Forgot you password" link follow the instructions and we'll email you your password.
If this is the first time you've purchased from us click the "Register and Checkout" button and enter your personal details including the billing address, if you are paying by credit card your billing address should match the address on your card statement.  Once you've completed all your details click "Continue".  At this stage you can decide which shipping address to use, and continue. 

How to use any promotional codes
The order summary page allows you to enter any promotional discount codes or gift certificate numbers.  Once you continue you will be presented with your chosen payment options.

How to pay for your order
Paying by Credit/Debit Card (Not AMEX) - We have partnered with WorldPay to ensure that your transactions are processed securely and reliably.  WorldPay is a leader in secure Internet payment processing.  You will be directed to the WorldPay site to provide your credit/debit card details and then redirected back to Blueshire once the transaction has been processed.

Paying by Sterling Cheque - You can pay by sterling cheque, your order will however not be shipped until the cheque has been received and our bank has given clearance.

Paying by Paypal - You can if you so wish pay using Paypal, this enables you to pay using AMEX among other means.  Since this is not our preferred payment partner there will be a 4% surcharge for Paypal transactions.


Delivery and Returns

Delivering the Goods
All in-stock items are shipped within 24-48hrs using 1st or 2nd Class Royal Mail.  The time it takes from dispatch to arrival will depend on the destination.

Returns and Approval
If you should wish to return a product for any reason, please login to your account select "view previous orders" click on the order the item relates to and select the return item option, enter the details of your return request and submit it to us.  Our customer services department will deal with your request within 48hrs and either accept your return (and issue an RMA number) or decline your return providing details.

Create new account
You can create a new customer account before or during the purchase process.  If you wish to create a customer account before placing an order, click on the "My Account" link at the top of every page and click the "Register" button.

Enter all your personal information, including email, required password and billing address.  If you are from the US or Canada please select the state from the state drop down list otherwise enter your county/state in the box provided.  Click continue when all details are completed, you are now a registered customer of Blueshire.com

Login to an existing account
If you wish to login to an existing customer account, click on the "My Account" link at the top of every page enter your email address and password and click the "Login" button.

Forgotten Passwords
I you've forgotten your customer password, click the "My Account" link at the top of every page, click the "Forgot your password" link, enter your email address and click the "Continue" button.  An automated email will shortly send your password.

View Previous Orders
You can view and check the status of any order that you have placed.  You can even click the "Repeat Order" link to purchase the same items on a complete order again.  From here you can also print additional copies of your order/invoice, along with request a returns number for unwanted/faulty product returns.

Modify Personal Information
Allows you to change any of your personal information held on the system, from here you can also decide whether to receive our email newsletters of not.

Manage Shipping Addresses
You can have multiple shipping addresses logged against your account, here you can add, delete, and alter addresses.  During the purchase process you will then be able to select one of many available shipping addresses, for simplicity you will automatically be allocated a default shipping address.

View Wish List
You can if you wish build up a wish list of products that you would like to purchase in the future.

Q: How does free shipping work? Are there any restrictions or limitations?
A: Free worldwide shipping applies throughout, we supplement the additional cost of running free deliveries worldwide by including the VAT charge on all orders regardless of destination.

Q: Do you sell/ship into every country?
A: We have few limitations however certain countries pose a high risk of credit card fraud for us and for that reason we will not accept orders from the following countries: Nigeria, Indonesia etc.

Q: I cannot find the product I'm looking for
A: Try navigating through the men's and ladies department menu's for the type of product you are looking for, alternatively use our search facility, simply enter the name or product code for the product you are looking for.

Q: I cannot find the HJ Hall socks that I've bought previously
A: We currently stock the complete range of HJ Hall socks, minus any products that are listed as discontinued.  If you cannot find a particular product or colour variation, there is a good chance it has been discontinued, please contact us for clarification: help@blueshire.com or +44 (0)845 130 6143

Q: What browsers does your website support?
A: Blueshire supports Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari on an Apple Mac.  If you should experience problems with any browser please email: help@blueshire.com

Q: Is your site secure?
A: Yes, we use WorldPay as our primary credit/debit card clearance company to ensure a complete secure and safe transaction from start to finish.

Q: Do you accept American Express (AMEX)?
A: Yes and No, we do not accept AMEX though our preferred clearance company WorldPay, but you can always pay using Paypal and use AMEX to pay into your Paypal account, because of the additional Paypal surcharges please note there will be a 4% additional charge for Paypal transactions.

Q. I cannot find an old previous order
If you have purchased from us previously through our old 1st generation website (before August 2005), your account details will have been transferred.  However due to the major revamp undertaken all old orders before August 2005 will not be shown on your previous order screen.
